Posted on Mon Aug 12th, 2019 @ 12:17am by Commander Leigh Jacobs in Sim Announcement

Due to my personal life being busy and with school season starting soon for my kids, I only see it getting worse, leaving little if any time to devote to the Valiant. Along with the extended lack of posting and activity, I am therefore announcing the Valiant will be closing it's doors. It's been fun for the past 1 year and seven months. I will miss writing with you all.

It was that time of the month again and the Valiant tied for the Bronze Unit of Distinction Award for TF-23! This is a great accomplishment and I hope we can continue to improve as there are still many stories, both mission and character-driven that needs to be told!

Also, Congratulations are in order to our local MCO 1st Lt. Rogers, who won Theta Fleet's Player of the Month Award for TF-23 for his enthusiasm and writing a Marine character that is keeping his CO on her toes in a good way, LOL!

Last but not least, congratulations to David, who won Theta Fleet's Player of the Quarter!! It is an award that is well deserved! As XO, he's stepped up to help his CO in multiple areas and has done a lot of work recruiting for the simm!

Again, I want to congratulate EVERYONE on a job well done and to thank you for participating more often. The Valiant would not exist without ANY of you!

This in no way diminishes what everyone else has done! I feel the Valiant is getting a breath of fresh air and soon we will have a new ship and mission that will bring all sorts of adventures for the crew of the Valiant!

Valywen studied Gharousda Three from the Science station on the bridge. The planet looked beautiful from orbit. Whether that was indeed true or due to her lack of experience at seeing planets from orbit in a starship was something she was unsure of. The orbit of the planet meant that…

The Romulan shifted impatiently from one foot to the other, while keeping his eye on his surroundings. The barn had the usual bales of hay, poor lighting, and the smell of manure from one of the dirty stalls. "Filthy," he remarked with a disgusted face.

"Where else would you expect…

Commander Leigh Jacobs' Personal Log.

We are currently enroute to Starbase 239 and I feel like I'm going to go crazy. The Valiant is the second command that I've lost. The USS Indefatigable wasn't my fault but Admiral Robertson had ensured that the damage was done, and now the Valiant--literally…
